About the producer
Valdivieso
After a successful career in South Africa and California, New Zealand winemaker Brett David Jackson set his sights on Chilean Valdivieso, now world famous. Brett is thoughtful, prefers to focus on his profession, and does not like to be in the spotlight. His focus is on harvesting the healthiest and ripest grapes possible from the vineyards. Grapes that easily and naturally, without too much intervention, become a good wine. The intended wine style of Valdivieso is that of full, supple and accessible wines, that are affordable. The house Valdivieso dates back to 1879 and is therefore one of the oldest wine estates in Chile. In the meantime, they have become a global player with vineyards in Valle de Maipo, Maule, Rapel and Casablanca
