At the beginning of the 20th century, Paul Cuvelier, together with his brother Albert, decided to acquire several exceptional estates in Bordeaux. In 1903, Château Le Crock was purchased, the family’s first flagship. Then, in 1920, they acquired both Château Léoville Poyferré and Château Moulin Riche. And so the family’s heritage and expertise in winemaking continued to grow. Eventually, their range spans many different terroirs and climates, producing and distributing both rare, prestigious bottles and more accessible wines that continually stimulate the senses. The story of Maison H. Cuvelier & Fils is a family odyssey interwoven with intuition, transmission, audacity and a love of the craft. And you can clearly taste this in the glass.
