About the producer
Château de Fuissé
In the heart of Mâcon, the southernmost part of Burgundy, lies Château Fuissé, an old castle whose five-sided tower and historic gate date back to the 15th century. Since 1862 and for five generations, it has been in the hands of the Vincent family, currently headed by Antoine Vincent, who also produces the wines. He produces wines of exceptional quality, thanks to the exceptional location and terroir. Generation after generation, the family has continued to buy up land, improve the quality and increase its reputation. The vineyards consist of 25 ha of Pouilly-Fuissé, 8 ha of Saint-Véran, 3 ha of Mâcon-Villages, 1 ha of Mâcon-Fuissé, 0.5 ha of Bourgogne Blanc and 2.9 ha of Julienas, a Beaujolais.
