César Márquez El Rapolao 2022 75cl

The family of César Marquez has owned the Castro Ventosa winery in Bierzo since 1752. His roots are therefore deeply rooted in the vineyards. He started his own project in 2015 and currently owns 6 hectares of old vines, between 80 and 120 years old. He is part of a small group of young vignerons who have knowledge of the international wine world and a feeling for the land around the vineyard. His focus is on micro-vinifications of small 'parajes', small plots (like the 'cru' principle). His La Salvación Godello, for example, comes from 1 hectare of 100-year-old vines (and is fantastic!). César is a really handsome, young thirty-something who we have recently started following because we are convinced that we will hear a lot more from him.
