To complete our Piedmont portfolio we have been working hard in recent years. Barolo, Barbaresco, Monferrato and Alto Piemonte are now beautifully represented, if we may say so ourselves. But; there was still a void. Roero. And after a long search, tasting and comparing, it was finally filled in June 2022! Enter Cascina Ca' Rossa! Angelo Ferrio and his son Stephen made their first bottling in 1995 and since then the cascina has made great progress: it switched to organic viticulture, bought prestigious plots such as Audinaggio and Mompissano in Canale and expanded to 13 hectares, renovated the cellar and invested in top-notch Slavonian barrels. The Nebbioli of Ca' Rossa excel in their gossamer-fine, pure and fruit-driven finesse, supported by the subtle and supple tannins, typical of the Roero zone. And what about Merica, the Roero Arneis from Ca' Rossa, which wins one award after another every year? Salty and complex Arneis, with real aging potential; it exists. Welcome Ca' Rossa!
