About the producer
Salvetta
When we recently, and totally unexpectedly!, discovered this beautiful estate, we wondered how on earth we had not heard of it before. And we still wonder. This small estate with barely 3HA, all planted between the limestone-rich cliffs north of Lake Garda, has specialized in a single grape: Nosiola. The Salvetta family, which is actually very much in step with neighbors Foradori, is now in its third generation, now that Dario has handed over the reins to his son Giancarlo and grandson Francesco. The Salvettas produce wines from the local, indigenous Nosiola on the Rauten farm that will leave you speechless. And then there is the iconic and legendary Vino Santo.
