About the producer
Foreign Affair
Canadian wine with an Italian twist. Len and Marisa Crispino bought 16ha of land in the Vinemount Ridge (on Lake Ontario, Niagara, Northern Canada) in 2000 with a dream to make wine like Amarone (Northern Italy) using the appassimento technique. Instead of rushing after harvest, they let the bunches dry for 60 days to achieve more concentration of flavour and more intensity. If you are a fan of Amarone and Bordeaux blends, then this combination is the wine for you!
