Sancerre… Who doesn’t know it? The elegant sauvignons, the Pinot Noirs that make you crave more… Unfortunately, the name Sancerre is not always a guarantee of delicious wine with a long finish. We went on site to look for the domains that deliver quality with a capital A year after year and were very selective in doing so. Daniel Chotard passed our selection with flying colours! His wines make us truly happy. They are the product of vineyards in Reigny on limestone and marl (Kimeridgiennes) that get all day sun and are surrounded by hills, as well as vineyards on the plateau of Crézancy-en-Sancerre on calcareous pebbles (Oxfordiennes). In combination with polyculture (grass between the vines, cereals, animals), their own manufactured barriques, the necessary knowledge and a strong woman behind the scenes, this domain is a top-notch wine. Taste it, you will notice it yourself.
