Did you know?
The subregion 'Enfer d'Arvier', next to the medieval village of Arvier, comprises the full 12 hectares and two producers: the cooperative and Danilo Thomain. Danilo owns just under 5 hectares. The DOP owes its name to both the steep slope and the sweltering summer temperatures, due to the stony soil and south-facing aspect. As the label indicates, it's the 'Hell of Arvier'.
