Domaine Trapet
How proud we are to exclusively represent this iconic domain for Belgium! A long-term job, but our (angel's) patience was ultimately rewarded by Jean-Louis. An iconic domain that produces barely 65,000 bottles, but even sets the standard of how and what Gevrey-Chambertin can, may and should be. Jean-Louis works ultra-attentively and almost sensitively in the vineyard (including 3 Grand Crus and 2 Premier Crus) and in the cellar. From the first buds to the harvest, the grapes are guided, but never forced. Production is very limited in favor of quality. He continues the family's rock-solid reputation with great success. Awarded *** in Revue du Vin de France 2023.
