About the producer

Domaine Dujac

Domaine Dujac is located in the village of Morey-Saint-Denis and was bought by Jacques Seysses in 1967. The wine estate initially had 4 hectares of vineyards, but now owns an area of 11.5 hectares, which yield no less than seven Grands Crus. In 1973, Jacques married Rosalind Boswell, a young Californian woman who came to work in the vineyard before the harvest. Their sons Jeremy and Alec have been involved in the business full-time for years, as has Jeremy's wife Diana who trained as an oenologist at the Davis Wine Institute in California. The style of the estate is mainly traditional. Their wines are generally not very deep in color while the aroma and structure are excellent. They produce real wines for laying down that are able to last for several decades.
