Domaine des Lambrays Clos des Lambrays 2021 75cl

Clos des Lambrays is one of the 33 Grands Crus of Burgundy, located in one of the most precious regions, the so-called 'Climats'. Year after year, the vineyards produce, in accordance with the nuances of the vintage, an elegant Pinot Noir that can easily age for decades. The first reference to Clos des Lambrays dates back to the 14th century. Archives from the Abbey of Cîteaux reveal its foundation around 1365. This foundation is commemorated by an engraved boundary stone that still stands in its original place. After the French Revolution, the Clos became very fragmented. The archives and cadastral map, held by the estate, show that the survival and reorganisation of the Clos is largely due to the strong vision and willpower of the various owners in the 19th and 20th centuries.
