About the producer

Domaine Bouley

This lesser-known gem owns ten hectares, including excellently located plots in Pommard, Beaune, Monthélie and Saint-Romain, but above all in Volnay. This domain has also been in the possession of the same family for generations. Principles of sustainability, low yields, manual harvesting, destemming, limited use of new wood, and the best material for the cellar; everything is good here. Not to mention the talent of Pascal and his son Pierrick, who has taken over the management since 2005 and was recently elected “Best Young Winemaker 2018”. Domaine Bouley exploits 11 hectares of vines, ideally located on the hills. Their wines are always subtle, balanced, fruity and elegant. The famous wine critic Allen Meadows is also a fan and predicts (quite rightly!) a great future for this domain.
