About the producer
The Negly
Château la Négly is located in the Languedoc, in the massif of La Clape, right next to the Mediterranean Sea. This exceptional geographical location creates a unique combination of salty sea air, a strong breeze and abundant sunlight that warms the soil and the grapes. The great diversity of soils, altitude and location (even ten meters from the tide's edge!), ensures a great diversity in style and strength. Négly is owned by the Paux-Rosset family, and daughter Marion makes the wine, assisted by oenologist Claude Gros. Thanks to their craftsmanship, we can rightly speak of wines full of character, with a lot of minerality, and in which the necessary balance is always maintained. For example, wine journalist Robert Parker once described this domain as the best in the Languedoc and gave one of their wines the fabulous 100/100 score.
