About the producer
Alpasion
In 2009, a close friendship developed between eight different CEOs of large companies who jointly followed the 'Challenge of Leadership' course. After this intense course, they wanted to seal their friendship. The idea arose to jointly manage a small winery. This became a much longer search than initially thought. First they searched in France and Italy, but the prices there were very high due to the interest of Chinese and Russian investors. Eventually they ended up in Argentina and found an estate at an altitude of 1200 to 1400 m, about 150 km south of Mendoza, in the Uco Valley. They immediately understood that there were opportunities here with neighbours such as Clos de Los Siete (of the famous wine guru Michel Rolland) and Salentein (of Meindert Pon), but singer Bono of U2 had also started a winery here. This was also quickly confirmed in the quality of their wine. They also apply the principles of organic wine cultivation, but are still waiting for their certification. The label contains the fingerprints of all the owners of this winery.
