Oddero Poderi & Cantine
The history of this famous estate begins somewhere around the end of the 18th century. No one knows exactly when, but it is certain that the most beautiful and leading wine plots around La Morra, in the heart of Barolo, have been in the hands of the Oddero for centuries. It is currently run by the sisters Mariacristina and Dodie, both very passionate. They took over from their father James and are now assisted by their children. The total surface of their vineyards is 35 hectares, of which 16.5 hectares are cultivated with Nebbiolo for the production of Barolo and Barbaresco. Since 2008 they have gradually applied organic wine principles. In the meantime, all their Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto vineyards are organically certified.
