  • Did you know?

Sgaminegg is an old Slavic term for the stony soil in this area. The vines for this wine are always rooted in pure Opok, slightly higher than most vineyards and therefore cooled by the wind from the nearby Koralpe Mountains. Deeply rooted in the lean, cool stone, the vines develop complex aromas that are present in every Sgaminegg wine."

About the producer

sample

In the idyllic landscape, full of green hills of the Südsteiermark, you will find the biodynamic winery of Sepp and Maria Muster, no less than 3 kilometers from the border with Slovenia. Sepp originally trained as an oenologist at the ultra-conventional Klosterneuburg in Vienna, but together with Maria he decided to take a completely different path: 'I have discovered that as a winegrower you should mainly observe nature instead of interfering with it.' Because of their success, Muster's natural wines are highly sought after. Noma in Copenhagen, the best restaurant in the world, was the first to run away with them. This opened the way to many hotspots. This style of wine first caught on in Scandinavia, New York and Japan and that is where they also got their first big customers. Fortunately, Crombé has also succeeded in cashing in an allocation for you. The wines are both complex and very pure.
