About the producer

Claus Preisinger

Here we are talking about a lightning career in Austrian wine growing. The winemaker, Claus Preisinger, has the status of being an oenological prodigy: at the age of 24, he won the prize of 'Austrian wine of the year' with his red wines. He is a driven perfectionist, and knows how to turn every cuvée into a true work of art. Biodynamic wine growing is his passion and he is a strong believer in the power of purity. You can see that in his minimalist label, his extremely sleek and futuristic building, and of course you can also taste it in his wines. Nature, purity and minerality adorn every sip. No hints of wood to be found. His 20 ha of vineyards are located in Burgenland in Gols, close to Lake Neusiedl. Claus is also a member of the Pannobile, a collective from Burgenland of 9 winegrowers who have been cultivating their vineyards strictly biodynamically and making natural wine since 1994.
