About the producer
Pere Ventura
When Pere Ventura founded his own wine estate in 1992, he was not only determined to produce exceptional cava, but also to make his family proud. His great-grandfather, Manuel Montserrat Font, was one of the winemakers who contributed to producing the very first bottles of cava according to the champagne method in 1872. Ultimate craftsmanship that Pere wanted to continue to the fullest! The winery has underground galleries that go up to 25m deep and have a total length of more than 1000m. Thousands of bottles of cava mature here! They cleverly use different grape varieties: macabeo for freshness and finesse, parellada for perfume and elegance and xarel-lo for body and structure. The house respects the surrounding landscape, tradition and the environment. Their wines are produced in a sustainable manner. For example, only organic fertilizers are used.
