About the producer

Stéphane Regnault

Follow along: Stéphane graduated as a rocket scientist, moved to London to work as a sommelier and combined that with his other passion; jazz. After working part-time as a sommelier and part-time as a saxophonist for a few years, he decided to return to his family roots; Côte de Blancs. Stéphane works in a very 'natural' way; no additives in the vineyard, little or no intervention in the cellar. With barely 4 hectares, the good man unfortunately does not produce much, being three Champagnes and one still Chardonnay. Always Chardonnay, always from the Grand Cru villages Oger and Le Mesnil, always based on 40 to 70 year old vines and always intriguing, mineral and tight Chardonnays that complement each other perfectly. But what finesse, texture and complexity! And not to forget that Stéphane only has a handful of vintages behind him! For now we only receive a few crates each year, but believe us; we will hear a lot more about this rocket scientist!
