About the producer
Autréau
Autréau has been a great favourite with us for years. This domain, which dates back to 1670, is now in the hands of the 4th generation, Laurent Autréau. Laurent's mission is to bring the highest possible quality of Champagnes to the world market and to further develop the Autréau brand. With the 35 hectares of vineyards that they now own, they are succeeding very well. Partly due to the fact that the vineyards are situated on top terroirs in five different municipalities, namely Champillon, Dizy and Hautvillers (Premiers Crus) & Chouilly and Aÿ (Grands Crus). So no small feat... But, as always; what good are top plots if you don't master the art of winemaking? Or don't work sustainably? No worries, that's fine too; mum and dad Autréau still support where and when needed. And recently Autréau has been certified for both HVE and Sustainable Viticulture. As you can see, it is good on many levels, including the price/quality ratio!
