And, in the case of Lambrusco, thank goodness! Just look at Silvia Zucchi. This young lady is the third generation of a family of winemakers in the high-quality Sorbara sottozona in Lambrusco. Silvia Zucchi is the third and current generation of a family with a long history of winemaking in the Sorbara zone of Lambrusco and she has only just given birth to her first child, so the fourth generation is already assured! Silvia studied at the prestigious Oeno school Conegliano and implemented her know-how in the vineyards from day 1. We fell in love with her Purezza (Gianluca!) & Rosato (Olivier!) cuvées at Crombé, while the Infondo conjures up the old-school Lambrusco of yesteryear in the glass. And what about the Marascone, a bottling based on Grasparossa that perfectly complements a rich plate of charcuterie? Trust us; a bottle of Zucchi is empty before you know it.
