About the producer
Leon Beyer
The Beyer family is located in a former resting place on the edge of the beautiful village of Eguisheim. The Beyer family has been active in the wine business here since 1580. The trading house was founded in 1867. They have approximately 15 hectares of their own vineyards, which produce a third of the grapes required. The remaining grapes are purchased exclusively from winegrowers in Eguisheim, with whom the Beyer family has often had a relationship for generations. The family's philosophy is that they want to make wines that have fully fermented and therefore do not contain any residual sugars. The style of their wines is therefore light and elegant, with fine and subtle aromas that leave a pure taste in the mouth. The focus is mainly on gastronomic wines.
