About the producer
Korrel
We are located in the German municipality of Bad Kreuznach, in the region of Nahe. The Korrell family originally comes from Spain and has been running a mixed agricultural business for over 250 years. Mr. Johanneshof was the first in the Korrell family to start growing grapes, and in 1967 Wilfried Korrell (finally...) changed the farm to exclusively viticulture. Today the vineyards are run by Martin and Britta Korrell, the 6th generation at the helm. Martin works and lives, day after day, according to the motto “less is more”. He concentrates solely and completely on the essentials, what he is best at. This attitude to life is also reflected in Korrell's collections. He does not make many different wines. In this way he can fully focus on obtaining the perfect balance and profound expressiveness of the classic, refined grape varieties that he uses.
