About the producer
Billaud Simon
Billaud-Simon, founded in 1815 in Chablis, is one of the historic domains of the AOC. This family domain changed hands in 2014 and became part of the Domaine Faiveley, which thus expanded its heritage, and now has 20 hectares of the most beautiful terroirs of Chablis. Take that literally, by the way, we are talking about four grands crus: Les Clos, Les Preuses, Vaudésir and Les Blanchots; four Premier Crus: Montée de Tonnerre, Mont-de-Milieu, Fourchaume and Vaillons, as well as Chablis and Petit Chablis. Olivier Bailly was appointed manager in 2014 and quickly refined the management of the vignobles. Since 2016, the return of high quality has been evident and this address is now one of the absolute sure bets in Chablis.
