About the producer

Tribute to Schloesser

Sébastien and Valentin Tribaut, the great-grandsons of René Schloesser, continue the family estate today. Since 2020, they own 23 hectares in organic conversion, divided between Romery, Cormoyeux, Fleury la Rivière and Damery. They also buy grapes from renowned crus such as Ecueil Premier Cru and Aÿ Grand Cru. They continue the family tradition combined with modern techniques. In order to produce around 350,000 bottles each year with the same care, Tribaut-Schoesser vinifies all the grapes in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks and vats or half-muids. The reserve wines mature for a year in oak barrels and foudres. This is followed by a maturation of at least 24 months sur lattes, and for certain cuvées even up to 9 years. It is out of the desire to respect the purity of each terroir that each of the cuvées is naturally low or not dosed at disgorgement.
