You read that right: since October, Crombé has been allowed to represent the world-famous Grower Champagnes of Égly-Ouriet in our little Belgium. And we are very, very proud of that. After years of lobbying, we received the redeeming news last summer that we are part of the Égly family. Why are we so happy about that? Well, the absurdly perfectionist methods and distinctive philosophy of Francis Égly make Égly-Ouriet, well…, Égly-Ouriet. All Champagnes are always followed up admirably, characterized by maturation in barrels and finally followed by a long maturation sur lattes that further raises their reputation to a stratospheric level.
